Cruise to Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta {Days 1 and 2}

Well we went on a 7 night cruise to Cabo and Puerto Vallarta. Since we took hundreds of pictures I'll have to pick and choose which ones to show case. I decided to split the trip up into 4 posts.

DAY ONE: We left early Sunday morning and took two cars down. Our car and my parents jeep. About an hour into the trip my parents car broke down, after hours a repair man came. Dave and I waited until their car was fixed and we took off. About an hour later their car broke down again. In the meantime we had already gotten to the grapevine and it was too late to turn around. Thankfully they got their car towed, and Jared, Laura and Justin took a taxi, my parents got a rental car. Dave and I were on the ship for almost 3 hours before the rest of the gang arrived. We thought surely they weren't going to make it. The ship was suppose to set sail at 4:30pm SHARP and the ship didn't end up leaving until 6! They assured my family that they are extremely lucky because the captain was closing the terminal. Thank GOD they made it aboard!
The first night we had dinner in the dining room, ah how i missed the cruise cuisine. A nice 5 course meal. After dinner we decided to explore the ship. Later that night we checked the kids into the child care aboard and headed to the Casino, Karaoke, and the dance club called "red carpet". Aboard the ship had 24 hours custom pizza and ice cream. So that first night we had ice cream at midnight and it was delicious.

DAY TWO: We awoke and went to the dining room for breakfast. As we were about five minutes into our meal a pack of Dolphins were swimming alongside of the ship! Everyone was screaming with excitement. It was like they were truly giving us a show, swimming in the ships wake. I would say there was about 30 or more dolphins. It was amazing! Nicole kept saying "Mommy there are no sharks when dolphins swim". That girl is a smart cookie! The waiters aboard have families back home in their countries (ie: Bulgaria, Ukraine, Philippines, Thailand, Russia... and so on) so they adored our children, They made origami for the kids at breakfast. The rest of the day we hot tubbed, swam, and laid out by the pool getting our tan on. Each day David and the kids would go back to the room and take their afternoon naps, I took a couple.. the sun is so draining!
The second night was the first of two formal nights. A lot of the guests were in suits and ties, along with a formal dress. On any regular night there is a dress code for the dining room and on the formal nights its held at a high standard. We took a few good family portraits that night. I wont post those ones because we might use them as a Christmas card, maybe.
Every morning and every evening the rooms are cleaned and the room cleaners make your bed with clean sheets, and in the evening they pull back your bed sheets, lay out the next days daily activity schedule, create animals from towels, AND... leave chocolates on our pillows.
