DAY THREE:
On day three we woke up and all loaded in the cars off to see the famous Spouting Horn of Kauai. We watched in amazement while this beautiful ocean roared in front of us. At the spouting horn souvenir area there was a tree, all the of the leaves had hearts and initials on them marked with dates. David climbed up and engraved our initials on a leaf hanging up on the tree. You can see the tree if you scroll down, David was hanging like a monkey on it.
That afternoon was spent driving around the island, finding a spear gun rental store and exploring the highway oh Kauai. Later around the kiddie pool we made some pretty cool friends, we'll have to tell you about them another day. They had a little girl who was Macoy's age. He's called her his girlfriend. They also had an 11 month old baby boy. By looking at the mom you'd never even know she has had a baby let alone 11 weeks ago! Her and her hubby we so down to earth!
For dinner Dave and I left the kids with my parents and drove to a little area of Koloa that had great stores and restaurants. We had sushi that evening. I'll attached some pictures. We had the sushi chef surprise us with rolls, actually i wouldn't call them rolls. It was some of the best sushi Dave and I have had!
DAY FOUR:
On this day you'll see our first picture shows the kiddos on the ground. We decided to place the mattress on the floor to prevent the kids from rolling off the bed, which they did multiple times. We had our usual morning routine of breakfast on the balcony and feeding the chickens. This day was so gorgeous, David and my brother Jared headed out to spear fish around 8 am. my brother used his gopro to snack some pictures, Myself, Tori, Laura and my dad all rented paddle surf boards and headed into the water. It was so much fun! What a work out!
There was an old swan who swam the lagoon all day long. We were able to feed him from our hands. The kids loved going to the edge of the water and hand feeding this
We went to Lappert's famous ice cream that evening. SO DELICIOUS! I had Banana Fudge!
