Aloha! We're home! What an amazing vacation we had! So much to blog about. I'll have to space the posts out.
DAY ONE:
We were picked up in a Limo and headed off to SFO! We arrived in Kauai around 11:20am which allowed for a full day of sun and fun! We loaded in our car we rented and headed off to the Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club. <~~ Click the link to see the page.
As I posted a few months back we stayed in two master suite condos. Ours was over looking the lagoon. We were on the second story which was perfect since we had the kids. We shared a condo with Jared and Laura. It was a lot of fun! We tooked about 600 pictures so I'll try to put some on here later in the week that we did not post on facebook.
First thing we did once we got to the hotel was put on our swim suits and head to the pools/beach! The first few days we spent our time at one of the kid pools. This one in particular was located along the beach and right by the pool bar. We were getting the best of both.
We lounged all afternoon getting a nice base tan! That evening we walked across from the hotel and ate Keoki's Paradise. Such delicious food. With the time change we all crashed a little earlier than anticipated that first night. 9pm Hawaiian time was actually 12midnight California time.
DAY TWO:
Since we went to bed early the night before we were up for the day around 8:30am (which in California was 11:30am). The kids shared a bed and both rolled off a couple times. We enjoyed our breakfast and coffee on our balcony overlooking the lagoon. The island is covered with chickens so they would eat all of our left overs.
We were all stocked up on food from Costco, and Walmart which was nice for our breakfasts each day. This was going to be our first full day so we swam in the ocean, snorkeled (my brother has a GoPro camera and we'll hopefully get those pictures and videos from snorkeling and spear fishing soon). <~~yes spear fishing. I'll save that for the correct day to post!
The ocean was a beautiful blue and clear! The water was so warm we loved it!
This evening we just BBQ'd at the hotel ate & played cards and domino's in the room. So far we are hooked on this island!
