Work hard, Play hard!

Ain't nothing like being the wife an a law enforcement man. They put in long hours, hard work, But they get to play hard too. The Sheriff department had a wonderful Christmas party at the Chaminade Resort. Dave and I were able to get away without the kids for an evening of dinner, dancing and drinks.. okay we didn't dance but we definitely watched the dancing.  Our good friends James and Priscilla Wright were there too, along with half the department. It was nice getting to meet a lot of the other wives & fiances. This department only have two schedules for days off, so it was the largest turn out they said the department has had in years. They had raffles giving away bottles of Patron, resort getaways packages, massages, wine tours, an Ipad 2 and so much more! Unfortunately we didn't win any of the raffles. We stayed the night at the Hotel, and took our time. It was funny, my body clock woke me up at 8am, the usual time i get up with my kids. Instead of waking up to "mommy I have to go potty", I awoke and made myself a cup of coffee and watched a Lifetime movie that was on. Needless to say, We were excited to get home to our munchkins! Here are just a couple of the pictures from the night.
