Weekend Away!

Dave and I have been married almost six years, we've have kids for almost 5 years. Out of all that time I have only gone away from them all twice! The first time was last summer for one of my best friends Sarah's birthday. Well my second trip away from Dave and the kids was last weekend. I flew down to Palm Springs on Thursday morning, and came home Sunday afternoon. My good friend Betsy turns the big THREE O this week and we celebrated with a fun relaxing girls weekend in the dessert!
She organized a beautiful house in "Movie Colony". Read about it (HERE). I had been to Palm Springs before with Dave, but this trip was different. The house was so modern, straight out of a catalog. All the furniture was brand new.
We spent our days (and nights) around in the pool. It was usually high 90's to the low 100's all day. We only heated up the jacuzzi a couple times.
We went to dinner one of the nights and then out on the town for a bit. I gotta say, I love the dessert! Love the heat, especially when we got to do nothing more than sip our margaritas around a pool reading gossip magazines and having girl chat!

While I was away David took the kids to the Sullivan Ranch, took them to a birthday party, a bbq and they survived without me! Needless to say we all had a great weekend!
