David's been working so hard the past few weeks with overtime. Since he had a full schedule I took a quick trip back up to the cabin since PML was celebrating the fourth still, with a firework display that Saturday night. I left town with just my mom, the kids and we met grandma and grandpa up there. David and my dad stayed home to work. It just so happened that a group of my friends were up there for the weekend too for the fireworks and a mini getaway at her parents cabin which happens to be just minutes from my grandparents. Can I be honest for a moment, I decided I would just share a bed with Nicole since David wasn't there. BIG MISTAKE! This girl grinds her teeth and is all over the bed! ha ha We went to the lake during the days, and ate just about every meal out on the deck. The weather was so hot. We squeezed in walks either early before it hit 95 degrees or after dinner when it cooled down. One of the evenings I met the girls at Diana's cabin, and off we went to California's oldest saloon. The Iron Door Saloon. Its so funny, they have dollar bills pinned to the ceiling, antlers and taxidermy animals across the place. There was a live band, so dancing a drink and friends obviously makes for a good time. The next day was the fireworks, we drove around until we found the right spot.
