Celebrate twenty eight!

I celebrated my birthday a day early by wine tasting with some friends at a couple of the local Gilroy wineries. Solis, and Fortino. We brought some food and got a couple bottles of wine. It was a gorgeous Gilroy day. Yes it was hot, but there was a little breeze.  Thank you to my friends who drove out here and those who live just minutes away, i had a great day celebrating with you!

Now, on my actual birthday I was awoken in the morning by my little princess wearing a hot pink bikini, a fur coat, and white high heels! ha ha David and Nicole (redressed of course) went an got donuts. The kids watched a movie and Dave played a board game with me, kids went down for a nap and I was able to go to the gym. When I got home kids were still sleeping but it was now about 95 degrees outside. When the kiddos woke up we went over to David's parents house and swam. It was nice to see them and hear about their recent trip to Cabo.  That evening Dave and I went out to Sushi! My favorite.. and it was kid free so we were able to sit in silence or talk without interruptions.  We came home and had dessert and a little back yard bon fire. Oh and a yes David and I played a round of monopoly! We are addicted to playing games! Needless to say, I had a great birthday!!
