Saturday Nicole got a baby Chick. My parents went to get 6 baby hens to start laying eggs in a couple months.. They let Nicole pick one. Dave and I picked for her... a little blackish gray with white spots. Shes very cute. We held it in front of Nicole's face and said "What do you wanna name your chicky??" and the first thing out of her mouth was "Dayhoo", So Dayhoo it is! :) Sweet little Dayhoo. :) We didn't take a picture yet, so next time we see her we will take one of our sweet little Dayhoo.
Also Saturday we had the privilege to pick up little Lainey Laing from the puppy hotel. She is sweeter than sweet and so stinking cute. Will and Lauren we hope you had a great trip to the UK!

Nicole vocabulary is starting to increase. Its funny how she pronounces words.. let me give you a few...
Thank you = Taytu, Please = eeeese, Baby = Daydee, Daddy, MaMa, Doggy. We have noticed when Dave and I say something she will try to say it even when we aren't trying to teach her... we definitely need to watch what we say in front of her little ears.
With David's busy work schedule we have been trying to squeeze as much family time in as we can. I love being a little homebody these past few weeks more than the usual, Its made me appreciate everything even more.
