There is always a project in our home

So, David surprised me and took Nicole's crib apart and did the first of 3 conversions. Its fun seeing her at night sleeping like a big kid. I crawled in her bed with her the other night. Surprisingly it held my weight ha ha. We're having fun picking out new stuff for her room. She does really really well. Apparently she doesn't know that she has the freedom to get up and out on her own. She calls for us every morning, and after each nap. "mommy, daddy, I'm awake! I have to go potty" Those are the calls we hear over her monitor, or from down the hall. :) I'm going to take advantage of her unknowing her freedom for as long as we can! This is how it currently looks, perhaps in a couple weeks I'll have posted some new pictures.

Now for those who have been to our home, know that our first room in the house is a dining room/ living room. Well, we sort of made the from a little play area for the kids to keep their toys out of the family room and kitchen. We have them in clear bins. It looked tacky, so we went and bought this bench with canvas drawers.  LOVE the difference. Besides the cars & trackers on the floor everything is usually tucked away now so nicely and organized.

Its true when people say, there is always a project to be done in, or on your home. We enjoy each one though. Our garage should be a whole post alone. David clean it last week, and hung bike racks from the ceiling so our bikes are up in the garage and added new hooks for storage. Cleaning house just in time for Christmas! ;)
