Lets see since the last post we have some new updates with out family.
We enrolled Nicole in a dance class... unfortunately the class didn't have enough 2yr olds so they cancelled it. Luckily we enrolled her into another class that starts next week. She is so excited, loves her little TuTu and dance shoes. She loves going to Sunday school at church. Met a new friend... she told us his name is Tyler, and she told us "he's a good boy". Dave and I both looked at each other with surprise. Funny girl. We rearranged rooms in our house and made a play area in the front room just for the kids. Cleaned the clutter out of our family room. Its so much easier so all the toys and strollers, dolls, color books, blocks etc are in one area.
Little Macoy is not so little. He's 5 months old and officially in size 9 month clothes! He's too long for even 6 months. Its so funny. We had the O-K to start on rice cereal and stage one solids since he's such a growing boy. 100 percentiles. He's the happiest baby. He's been teething for WEEKS. He's so sweet. We thought Colie was easy, but Macoy is just the most chill baby. Maybe we're old pros and know what to expect, but this child is such a sweet baby. He loves sleep, laughing, eating, and his toys. He's finally able to reach for his toys and chew on them. He's tried stage one Pears, and stage one Peas. Loves them both.
He goes to see his head specialist next week. But we have noticed a drastic change now that hes sitting up and playing. His head is rounding out perfectly, we're praying its at a healthy shape now.
When people say time passes so quickly with baby number two, they weren't kidding. I feel like we are hitting milestones and before we know it he's going to be one year old! I love having two kids is making time fly! I cant believe its already ending January 2011!!! We have the kids on great schedules right now, Nicole goes down at 7pm for the night, awakes at 8am. Macoy goes down at 8pm and around 8:45am is up for the day. They both nap from 12pm-2or 2:30. Finally having them on the SAME schedule has made keeping the house and laundry clean and up to date! And i find time to shower and actually get ready for the day. David's days off have been so fun. We've been taking little day trips here and there. Playing games with Nicole and watching movies.
