Raining in June?!

Last week we had dinner at our good friend's Justin & Sara Jantz. They have a 2 yr old Kiely and about to give birth to their son, due on 6/10. Well Colie is potty trained and Kiely is in the early process of it. When Nicole has to go, Kiely went and sat on her own potty. It was a cute picture! :) They'll like it when they're 16.
Saturday Dave and I went to an outdoor wedding at a beautiful winery. Even though it rained (not during the ceremony) we had an awesome time. Here's a couple pictures from that day.

It was a fun day/night out for us. We had a non family babysitter for the first time! Both kids did great and we got a great report. Colie told me how much fun she had. Which makes any mom happy to hear how great other people are with your children.

Our sweet little Macoy has been a little extra fussy the past few days. We associated it with teething... however... I took him into Kaiser to get everything checked out and sure enough he has a severe ear infection in his left ear. We have never experienced ear infections with either children, so this is a first for us. The doctors were surprised to hear it hasn't interrupted his sleep. Guess we got lucky? He has a fever of about 102 and super cuddly which I'm taking full advantage of. Hes my little snuggle bug but being sick makes him even more cuddly.

We have been trying to be outdoors as much as possible lately. Having a dog has led us to walks and now bike rides. David holds the leash and rides while our puppy Molly runs along. Its great, it feels good to be so active. Now if only this rain would go away... this is June isn't it? Guess I wont be watering my garden for the next couple days. Speaking of, we have many wild tomato plants coming up all over the yard. We transferred a few of them to our front yard (veggies in our front yard, those would be my Italian genes). Also, we have two pumpkin plants now in our front... we pulled out a few big bushes as our plans is to eventually build a little walk and patio in the front.  We're been using our green onions and cilantro daily... and my basil. Ive already made sauces from my garden. My tomato plants are covered in green tomatoes, I'm just itching for everything to be ready for our first harvest!!
David is still out on medical leave. Hopefully get gets a good report from his doctor this week. Hope everyone had a great Memorial day.  We just went to a BBQ and kicked back. Had a really nice relaxing day.
