Hawaii vacation

Aloha!
Well we are home. Where to begin, we departed out of SFO on Feb 25. This was the first time Colie & Macoy ever flew. I must say I'm very impressed! Macoy slept off and on the entire flight! Happiest little boy! Colie had her Tinkerbell back pack full of snack, color books, video games, and dolls. She took a small cat nap on her Nonna. {Thanks mom}.  The way over each of the kids had their own seat which was great because Macoy was suppose to be a lap baby but the flight was only 25% full so they let us bring his car seat on. Coming home Macoy was a lap baby. Nicole had her own seat both ways... which killed me having to pay full price for a child who's 25lbs! :)

We settled into our hotel in Waikiki, couldn't have asked for better weather when greeted by Oahu's sunshine. This was my first trip to Hawaii ever. We unloaded at the hotel and hit up the beach! We were ready to feel the sand in our toes and the warm ocean water.
The first evening Dave and I went to a steak house for a little date night. Must say the tropical drinks were so delicious! Each morning we awoke to the beautiful sunrise and watched the surfers floating in the water from our balcony. David, Justin and myself decided to hike Diamond Head. Click {HERE} to learn about it.
After sweating and walking up what seemed like a never ending stair case we made it to the top, and you'll see pictures when you scroll down. We snorkeled in Hanauma Bay Click {HERE} to learn about it. BEAUTIFUL views, and amazing snorkeling. I am a scared cat and didn't snorkel out as far as David. But We saw beautiful underwater life. We took the kids to the Honolulu Zoo & the Waikiki Aquarium.  The monkeys at the zoo put on a show for us! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1Tmy4ibUx0 If you click that youtube link, listen in about 15 seconds and its our favorite part! We took some picture with the banyan tree's. They have crazy roots hanging and dangling from all over. Amazing. We walked inside of one of the large tree's outside the zoo. The Shave Ice was so good i could eat some everyday, and my new favorite dish the Loco Moco click {HERE}. So delicious!!!!!
We had such a fun, well needed vacation. Thanks Mom & Justin for traveling and helping out so much! We really appreciated all your help, and the fun you brought.
Not sure how to pick and choose out of over 400 pictures, so I'll attach some of my favorites. You'll notice any picture in the water we are covered in Maui Babe! Browning lotion!I think it paid off! :)
