Already the middle of December!!??

This month is coming and going so quickly.  Lets see, December marks the one year anniversary that David graduated the SJPD Police Academy class! He's officially off his probation this month, whoo hoo!
This is our first Christmas in our OWN home! We have lights hung outside and on the bushes, lights and decor everywhere in our home, the presents are overflowing from underneath our tree. I love this season!
Macoy had his 4 month well check... and... we weren't surprised by what his doctor said... I quote "Looks like you guys are going to have a football player". Macoy's basically 90th percentile in all three categories! Height, Weight and Head size. No joke! The percentile numbers were all 90% and 87%. He weighs 18lbs 3oz and that's only 6 lbs LESS than Colie. She's as of two days ago she is 24lbs. Hes officially cutting THREE teeth. Nicole didn't cut any teeth until she was 8 months old, so this seems early to us. I'm just happy we have two healthy kids. I think by his first birthday he'll be bigger than her :) Isn't that way it should be, the boy bigger than the girl. So I guess we have it the right way. Now, this explains why he sleeps so darn good! Hes big! Sleeping 10-12 hours a night.  Macoy is able to sit when being propped, laughing like there is no tomorrow, and just started hanging out in his "johnny jumper" and hes loving it! Nicole starts dance class in a couple weeks. We're excited! I really enjoy watching the kids as the holidays come especially now that Colie is at an age where she understands. She's 2 going on 5. haha I swear this girl is going to outsmart Dave and I both!
Like I said David ends probation. He loves his job, and he works with a couple of his closest friends from the Academy so he couldn't be happier.
Me, I'm enjoying the cold nights, rain on the roof... shopping with my red cup from Starbucks. Nicole and I have been making gingerbread men cookies about once a week. So much fun. I have been able to hang out with friends and cuddle up watching movies with the hubby on his nights off. Life seems so good right now. We remember to count our blessings and be Thankful for all we have. We're really happy Colie is learning that Jesus lives in our home and in HER heart. We ask her and she tells us "Jesus lives in the house mommy!" Now we just have to teach her Christmas is about baby Jesus birth not just Santa and presents ;)

Here's a picture from about 2 weeks ago right before our tree's lost ALL their leaves... Dave and Colie spent Tuesday evening racking the yard into big piles of leaves.

Here is my little Macoy. I have fun dressing a little boy. I'm so use to pink, and bracelets and bows, so the switch to sweater vest and air jordans is a fun change.

Our princess, passed out from shopping the day away. She passed out in the car and ended up on Macoy's boppy pillow.

Getting big so fast. The saying is so true after your first the time just passes so quickly!

Colie giving attitude while holding Macoy. Both of their expressions are funny!

Best friends curled up for a story and Christmas music before bed.
