Macoy and Colie

Friends and family, Just some updates on your great-grandchildren, grandchildren, niece, nephew, or whatever they may be to you.
Macoy is now 6 1/2 weeks old! I cannot believe 6 weeks has come and gone.
We have him sleeping in his own room! He sleeps so much better in there, as for us we sleep better too! This transition seems so much easier with him than when we put Colie in her own room. There were no tears on my end :) Hes now smiling and cooing to us. It melts my heart when i get him and he flashes a crooked smile at me. Of course if your more than 15 inches away you look like a color blob. He's changed so much in a matter of weeks from a tiny lil guy to a chubby baby with full cheeks!

Colie, my little helper. She is such a big help to me. She helps me in the kitchen she'll wear her Tinkerbell oven mitt and help stir when we're baking. Though she is only 2 years old she is way to smart for her age (of course as her parents we would say that) but this girl knocks us off our chair with her vocabulary. We picked her up from the 2year old class at church and the class teachers were shocked that she knows all her colors, shapes, counts to 20, corrects the 3 year old with the toys they were playing with. haha We just laugh because its not a surprise to us. A friend of ours was over and he picked up a shape and said "here's a circle Colie" and she quickly corrected him "No no Oval" and guess what, it was an oval! hahah She'll point to the moon in the middle of the month an say "cresent" and shes right, it is the shape of a cresent. She throws a fit if she doesnt get her flash cards, flash cards are one of her favorites!!
